one of my biggest criticism of myself is my inability to take a chance... I'm too afraid of the bad, afraid of the fall, afraid of anything bad that could happen... I'm too afraid to even realize all of the good that could happen, yes it's only could... but if I never learn take that chance that 'could' will slip away, and I'll be left looking back wondering what would have happened, and how wonderful it might just have been....

I've changed and I'm sure you have changed as well, we've grown up... but it was so reassuring to see that we haven't changed and that we have grown up, not grown apart. I've missed you, I knew I would see you less and hear from you less, I knew I'd have less time and so would you, but I can't tell you how nice it was to take the time to see you, to talk to you. I've been reminded that time can't control everything, we can control friendships and this is one I intend to keep. Thanks for a great evening, it was definitely worth the 2, almost 2.5 hour ride... I've missed you.

it was so great to be back again... the perfect kick, the ball rises and then sinks perfectly into the upper right hand corner... ok no I can't quite do that but it was great to play again. Even the sting of the ball on a cold night was a feeling I welcomed. I ran around with energy I didn't have, simply because I had missed the game. I think I pulled a muscle and tomorrow I'll be sore but for now... I'm just glad to be back in action, I had almost forgotten how much I love this silly game.

WPI, Colby, UMASS, or NC State

I really don't know what to do...

I fell in love with Colby the minute I stepped on the campus but looking back now I know I can't base my decision on the look of the campus....I didn't really think about NC State but the money and family are hard to ignore....UMASS would be fun and safe, its the only school I feel safe about, but is it what I want?....WPI has probably taken the lead, academically it's the best for what I want. But it scares me, its a risk, a big one and I wonder if it would it be worth it?

Things to consider... money, academics, sports, family, travel, job/graduate school, location, environment....the rest of my life

I'm a little bit freaking out.

These guardian angels of mine have watched over me for the last few years. They have watched me grow up, they have made me laugh, they have been there when I cried. They have taught me things about myself and about the world. They have given a part of themselves to me.

But as I have grown up I have started to look back, I now see these guardian angels not just as coaches, parents or teachers, but as friends. I love to watch them away from the court/school, I like to see what makes them smile, laugh. To just talk to them, not as a student or player, but as a person, more importantly as an adult. I like to hear their stories. It makes me happy to see them with their family and friends, to see them happy. I want to know the real people behind my guardian angels, because the type of people these angels of mine are...thats the type of person I want to be.

These guardians of mine are everyday ordinary people, but the more I get to know them the more I realize they are nothing close to ordinary. They are heroes in disguise... so thank you.

Thank you for letting me be me, and for simply being you.

In a world where so many people give up dreams, morals, goodness and whatever else, you are unique. You are unwilling to compromise yourself or your beliefs in order to appease anyone else, that I respect. You refuse to give up your dreams and hopes, you refuse to settle, that I admire. You care when others walk away or forget, and for that I am thankful. You laugh with all of your heart, and that about you, I adore. You put family first, and then me, and that I love. You earned "best personality" in our highschool year book, in my opinion, they could not have chosen anyone better.

I barely knew you when I walked into Leominster High School, I sat in a row by myself and watched you dance...I thought to myself, this is a girl I need to be friends with, look at her. Over the past year I have gotten to know you, and the more I know, the more I am glad I went to watch you dance, went to become your friend.

In a two months I will walk away from NM, walk away from these towns and the people in them, but there are a few people I will take with me, and hold close to my heart. You are one of those people, because no matter where we go in life, you will always be my tiny dancer, one of my best friends, and one of the best people I know. So thank you for being you, and allowing me to be me.
