I though i'd be happy when iT ended...
tHought I'd be happy to Not be sitting on the side lines, to not have to thinK about how i mIssed My senIor year, think about how much I took for Granted.
it was Hard to siT on the side lines, but its haRder to rEalize its over, I won't plAy for NM soccer again, i wiLL never put on that jerseY, goaLie shIrt and gloves...
i thanK my girls for a wondErful season, i wish i could have given YOU more.

i may not be a player, but i think you gave more than many thought possible just for you patience and persistence and leadership.
you were responsible, you were captain, you couldnt play, which killed you, but you were there, at every practice, at every game, at every spagetti supper.
and that says a hell of a lot. and was more than most could do, or most even attempted. you were there through sunshine and rain, happy days and sad.
you, paige, are a leader, even if this year it was off the field. and being sad that it is over is perfectly normal.
but no regrets dear... happy memories.
because in the end, that is what we want to remember.
you always make the most of what you have got. and i admire you for that.

What more could you have given?????
You gave EVERYTHING you had this season. Only a few of us know what it's like, a captain, standing on the sidelines virtually helpless. It sucks. It really does.
You were more of a captain this year than you could have been on the field. You showed that you didn't just care about the playing time and the sport. You were devoted the the TEAM, to every single one of your girls.
:) You were the ultimate soccer mom, Paige.
and I know that they appreciate you this year more than you could possibly know.
